We use two precise molds in our Advanced Twin Mold process for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first ensures an exact layup, the second (the inner core) holds each individual fiber in its intended position while the frame cures. The result is an extremely light, stable chassis with a fiber density that is optimally tuned to node points that are subjected to heavier loads.
